Marriage Preparation

Due to the pandemic marriage preparation providers have adapted and moved their courses online which gives more choice and flexibility for couples preparing to marry.

I’ve listed 3 main providers in the UK (Marriage Care, Worldwide Marriage Encounter & Smart Loving).

Marriage Care offer 2 online preparation courses.

Preparing Together Anywhere – an interactive, skills-orientated, online group course delivered over 3 webinar style sessions.

The sessions can facilitate up to 7 couples.

An overview of the course which is designed to help couples learn their relationship grows when they may encounter important issues in a constructive and loving way:

  • The importance of talking and listening

  • How to negotiate and solve problems

  • What to expect from your relationship

  • The way your family and childhood influence how you interact with each other

The link is for 2021 online courses that any couple can sign up for regardless of where they live.

FOCCUS – a questionnaire-based exploration of the couples relationship, provided for individual couples with a facilitator

Worldwide Marriage Encounter are also providing online marriage preparation
